dentures
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. There are various types of dentures available:
Complete Denture:
Replaces a full set of teeth. They are held in place by adhehesives, natural suction, or a combination of both.
Partial Denture: Replaces missing teeth and the denture is attached to the remaining teeth.
Implant Overdenture: Are secured in the mouth by clipping or screwing onto titanium dental implants that been placed in the jawbone. Overdentures do not cover the palate.
Immediate Denture:
Dentures placed in the mouth on the same day that teeth are extracted. These temporary dentures are worn for the first few months after an extraction during the healing period and while awaiting permanent dentures.
